Good advice before your sauna gus
Gus master Thomas Frank's best advice:
- Bring swimwear (if required by the sauna venue), a large towel to sit on, and a towel to dry yourself with. If you have a sauna hat, you can also bring it – it protects your head, skin, and hair from overheating.
- Drink plenty of water before the sauna gus. Your body needs to hydrate, so drink a lot of water throughout the day.
- Eat something light before the gus, such as a banana. Avoid fasting or large meals.
- Move down a bench in the sauna if you get too hot. A sauna is between 70 and 90 degrees Celsius, and the temperature drops by about 10 degrees per bench.
- Listen to your body, and leave if you feel unwell – but remember to tell the gus master.
- Focus on your breathing during the gus. Your heart beats fast, but that's normal – your body is working, and the process benefits your immune system.
Cancellation Policy
24-hour cancellation rule: To receive a full refund, cancellation must be made in writing no later than 24 hours before the scheduled sauna gus event. Send your cancellation to info@gusmester.dk with your name, order number, and the date of the event.
No refund for late cancellation: Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the event's start time are not eligible for a refund.
Ticket transfer: If you cannot attend and miss the cancellation deadline, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person. Contact us to update the participant information.
Cancellations from our side: Should we, due to unforeseen circumstances, have to cancel an event, all registered participants will be offered a full refund or an alternative event date.
